Organic Whole Coriander Seeds
Coriander seeds are the dried fruits of a small annual, from S. Europe and the Middle East and is a sweet spice used in many Indian, Asian and Eastern dishes in both savoury and sweet recipes.
The seeds have a warm spicy flavour and release a lemony citrus aroma when crushed. Dry roasting or heating the seeds in a dry pan intensifies the flavour, aroma and pungency.
Coriander seeds can be used whole or crushed in various recipes and can also be included when making pickles and chutneys to create a spicy flavour.
Storage: It is best to store herbs in airtight glass jars away from sources of heat and light in order to keep them fresh and retain full flavour. Repurposing pesto jars or small jam jars are ideal for storing 25g of dried herb.
